![]() This car began life in a different color and pictures don’t do justice to the miserable job done applying the paint. If the hipster aesthetic was initially based around reappropriating squareness and feigning frugality, I suppose it makes sense that this would be the four-wheeled poster child (though I wonder if anyone non-enthusiast ever thought much about it). Ironically enough–and luckily for Ford–Chrysler would screw it up with their intermediates’ similarly sparse 1971 replacements, ceding that higher-profit margin segment to Dearborn’s bloat-mobiles. That car, in sedan form, didn’t exactly define glamour in the intermediate class take away all the trim which distinguished it as a more expensive car, along with some length, and you’re left with this big, empty box. It’s unusual, too, given that Ford’s interiors were often more lavishly trimmed than the competition’s, but it’s likely related to the fact that the Falcon sedan shared its central section with the Fairlane, with undeniable similarities in the roofline. It’s possibly an unfair comparison to yesterday’s Dart, which was both partially restored and slightly upmarket in comparison, but I’d still argue that even the most basic Valiant was more appealing place to spend time than the cheapest Falcon. ![]() You can see here why some drivers might have spurned the Falcon in the late ’60s there’s little about this interior which is charming relative to contemporary compacts, though I concede it’s not completely original or well preserved. When you start renaming your cars without truly altering their technology or mission, you clearly have an image problem, and it shows that by the end of its life, Falcon must have been decidedly un-hip to American drivers (sort of like a 1994 Ford Tempo imagine one of those used as a fashion statement in 2039). While the Chevy II model name was quickly phased out by the higher-trim Nova nameplate as applied to its wide-body replacement, the similarly conceived Falcon was completely recast as the smaller Maverick, severing any topical association with its forebear. ![]() That quality, which makes it popular with a certain demographic today, was a liability by 1969 and the nameplate was retired by 1971. This Falcon makes an excellent counterpoint to yesterday’s Dart it really was the most lo-fi compact of its time. Who should I find was the owner of this car, but the middle-aged founder of a local indie record label who I’d seen an hour earlier while sifting through records: basically, the sort of person who could be casually, and carelessly, passed off as the prototypical hipster (though in actuality, an outgoing guy with a great sense of humor). I saw this from about a half-mile away during a walk home from the record store yesterday afternoon and knew I’d be putting it up on CC, despite being yet another white find. It’s likely many of you can also guess the sort of person who drives this sort of car around these days. When it comes to cars built and sold before my time, any accuracy in judging people based on their consumptive patterns is naturally lesser, but some models, like this 1969 Falcon have acquired new cultural significance in their old age. To see over 80 photos of this car, including under carriage please visit our website have often remarked on my uncanny ability to stereotype people I’d argue this dubious skill was sharpened through my observation and love of the automobile. To fine one today, preserved in this impressive condition is nearly impossible until now. The cars were simple, easy to own and economic. The 69 ford falcon in this configuration was a stylish, practical car that found its way into many American homes. The car was repainted once many years ago in its original colors and still shines up nice. It is ready for immediate everyday use as a turn-key driver. The car is very clean, retains an excellent original core structrue and mechanically very reliable. The car also features an aftermarket AM/FM stereo, newer tires, newer brakes, newer hoses, newer wires and plugs and fuel pump. The car is finished in two tone paint: Wimbleton White / Gulf Stream Aqua and is optioned as follows: 200 CID strait six engine, C-6 Automatic transmission, full carpet, full wheel covers, white wall tires, exterior trim, factory stripe, Cigar lighter, day night mirror, and right and left outside mirrors, and dealer applies rust-proofing. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this very tidy 1969 Ford Falcon Coupe for consideration.

![]() When blood is viscous, in addition to a high blood pressure required for the blood circulation, blood vessel walls are also easy to be damaged. People with certain bone marrow diseases, such as multiple myeloma, may have high blood protein levels before they show any other symptoms. What causes high plasma levels?Ĭertain proteins in the blood may be elevated as your body fights an infection or some other inflammation. These various modalities will only treat the symptoms of HVS. Leukapheresis, plateletpheresis and phlebotomy are used to treat leukostasis, thrombocytosis and polycythemia, respectively. Plasmapheresis is the mainstay of treatment for hyperviscosity secondary to increased plasma proteins. Another important factor that influences blood viscosity is temperature. Some patients with anemia have low hematocrits, and therefore reduced blood viscosities. Increased viscosity increases the resistance to blood flow and thereby increases the work of the heart and impairs organ perfusion. What happens if blood viscosity increases? It is affected by the presence of proteins produced in normal response to infection or inflammation, or abnormally in certain diseases (paraproteins). Plasma Viscosity (PV) is a laboratory test to assess the viscosity of a patient’s blood. Read More: What is the shape of bh3nh3? What is normal plasma viscosity? Of these formed elements, red cells have the greatest effect on viscosity. The addition of formed elements to plasma (red cells, white cells, and platelets) further increases the viscosity. Whole blood viscosity increased directly with increasing plasma viscosity, plasma fibrinogen, and total plasma protein concentration, with the strongest correlations at the lowest shear rate of 1.15/s. It can reflect the degree of inflammation present in the body. Plasma viscosity can be used as an indirect measure of the amount of protein present in the plasma (liquid) part of the blood.
